Are you a student of law, journalism, political science, communication, arts, education, humanities or a civil society actor with a strong interest in human rights? ECPM and the Council of Europe offer you the opportunity to participate in a unique experience involving the commitment of young citizens who wish to contribute to the process of universal abolition of the death penalty: the opportunity to take part in a medium-term project with other young people in Europe for the universal abolition of the death penalty.
A workshop tailored to …
- Strengthen your theoretical knowledge of the abolition of the death penalty (abolitionist arguments, situation in the world, etc.)
- discover or deepen your mastery of advocacy and action methods (social networks, mobilizing the general public, networking, etc.)
- collaborate with committed and creative students and young activists in Europe
- understand the techniques of collaborative project construction
- engage in an enriching human and solidarity experience
- contribute to the mission of the Council of Europe in favour of human rights, democracy and the rule of law
- live an intercultural co-creation experience at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg
Conditions of participation:
- You are a citizen and reside in a member country of the Council of Europe
- You are between 18 and 30 years old
- You are fluent in English and/or French
- You are available from 1 to 4 June 2023 and can travel to Strasbourg (travel and accommodation costs in Strasbourg will be fully covered by the organizers)
