Engagée au Liban depuis 2010, ECPM accompagne et renforce le travail des acteurs abolitionnistes locaux afin d'obtenir une réforme du Code Pénal. Elle développe également un programme pédagogique et a mené une importante mission d'enquête dans les couloirs de la mort libanais, publiée en 2021.

AJEM, LACR and ECPM, call on the Lebanes state to seriously consider the the death penalty situation in the country. In 2022, 5 new death penalty sentences were handed down, including 4 men and 1 woman. To the end of 2022, at least 78 people on death row were in detention, most of them in very difficult conditions.
