This international competition aims to encourage young people from around the world to get involved in the campaign for the universal abolition of the death penalty by creating striking and innovative posters.
Out of nearly 500 entries received from Germany, Cameroon, France, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tunisia, Morocco, Austria, Luxembourg, Tanzania and Lebanon, 50 designs have been selected.
This selection will form part of a travelling exhibition set to tour the world and be showcased at major international abolitionist events, starting with the 9th World Congress Against the Death Penalty organised by ECPM in Paris from June 29th to July 2nd. A bilingual catalogue on the ECPM website will accompany the exhibition.
It is now up to you to choose your three favourite posters:
The posters receiving the most votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award. Voting is open until midnight on Monday May 25th.
The results will be announced at an awards ceremony (more details to follow shortly) and then published on ecpm.org.
