Lebanese Association for Civil Rights (LACR)

The Lebanese Association for Civil Rights (LACR) works for civil peace, citizenship and denominational change, socioeconomic and political rights, humanistic education, and justice. In 2020, LACR, together with ECPM and AJEM, published a fact-finding mission on the death penalty in Lebanon.
Since then, the two organisations have worked together to advocate with parliamentarians and national authorities. In 2023, ECPM and LACR jointly organised a national conference, a seminar for stakeholders in the criminal justice system and talks at university.
