With over 500 entries received, this edition once again demonstrates the mobilisation and commitment of young people to the universal abolition of the death penalty. From the 50 shortlisted posters, prizes were awarded in two categories: the Jury Prize and the People’s Choice Award.

Organised by the International Network for Education on Abolition (RIEA) and supported by ECPM, this biennial, international educational project is aimed at young people under the age of 25 and aims to encourage their civic engagement on the issue of the universal abolition of the death penalty.
More than just an art competition showcasing young people’s voices,‘Draw Me Abolition’ demonstrates a synergy between educational teams, institutional partners and civil society. And the adventure doesn’t end with the awards ceremony: the posters continue to be displayed at abolitionist events organised by ECPM, both in France and in the other countries where it operates.
